Flights between India and UAE suspended again

Many stranded NRIs who are employed in UAE, are waiting to come back to the UAE and resume their work

 

Close on the heels of the announcement of the opening of traffic movement between India and UAE, the UAE has re-extended the travel ban on passengers from India till July 21.

As per the earlier order, the cargo and business charter would be allowed to operate, as they continue to exempt from the ban.

Besides India, the countries which come under the banned list include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Nigeria and South Africa

On Saturday, the UAE’s General of Civil Aviation Authority issued an order, which was a re-visit to its earlier order that had allowed foreign passengers, including India, to travel to the UAE under full protocols of vaccination and tests.

Many stranded NRIs who are employed in UAE, are waiting to come back to the UAE and resume their work.
