In an exhilarating turn of events, the Dubai Duty-Free (DDF) Millennium Millionaire draw on Wednesday, March 20, saw the joyous celebration of two fortunate souls, one hailing from the Emirates and the other from India, each claiming an astonishing one million dollars (equivalent to approximately Rs 8,30,94,050).

Mohammed Al Shehi, a proud Emirati national, clinched his million-dollar fortune in the Millennium Millionaire Series 454. The fateful ticket, number 2637, was purchased online by Al Shehi on March 10, marking a serendipitous investment that changed his life forever.

Joining the ranks of the newly minted millionaires is Mohammad Jamal Ilmi, an Indian expatriate residing in the vibrant city of Dubai. Ilmi’s stroke of luck came in the form of ticket number 0121, acquired during his travels to Madrid, Spain, on February 27.

Al Shehi’s triumph marks him as the 14th Emirati to ascend to millionaire status through the Millennium Millionaire Show since its inception in 1999. Similarly, Ilmi’s win crowns him as the 226th Indian to join this esteemed roster of million-dollar victors, underscoring the widespread appeal and inclusive nature of the renowned draw.

Amidst the jubilation of the two principal winners, the DDF draw also bestowed coveted prizes upon other fortunate participants:

Nadeem Hassoun, a Belarusian national, drove away with the sleek BMW 740i M Sport in Black Sapphire Metallic.

Ayoob Ali Ahmad Albastaki, a 59-year-old Emirati, added flair to his collection with the luxurious Mercedes Benz S500 in Opalith White.

Sharafudheen Madambillath, representing the Indian contingent, revved up his excitement with the BMW R18 Octane in Black Storm Metallic, a stylish addition to his possessions.

Cecille Anne Holmans, a 38-year-old Filipino, embraced the thrill of the ride with the BMW S 1000 RR in Light White M Motorsport, amplifying the adrenaline rush with this high-performance motorbike.

The Dubai Duty-Free continues to be a beacon of fortune and excitement for participants from diverse backgrounds, enriching lives and spreading joy through its prestigious draws and prizes.
