Indian Social Club Salalah’s Iftar party attracts attendance from across the communities

The holy month of Ramadan began on March 23 in the Oman and concluded on April 21 with the sighting of moon. Eid al Fitr was observed on April 22 for which the government had announced five-day holiday from April 20 to April 24

As a mark of solidarity with the fasting members of the Indian community and Omani nationals the Indian Social Club Salalah organised an iftar party at the Club premises on April 15.

The holy month of Ramadan began on March 23 in the Oman and concluded on April 21 with the sighting of moon. Eid al Fitr was observed on April 22 for which the government had announced five-day holiday from April 20 to April 24.

The even saw attendance from across the communities in Salalah

 People from many other communities took part in the Iftar event. The Iftar committee and executive members of regional wings along with management committee members of the ISC Salalah served food to the fasting people during the Iftar party.

ISC Salalah President Rakesh Kumar Jha welcomed the community members and appreciated the efforts and cooperation of the regional wings and Iftar party committee members.

ISC Salalah General Secretary, Dr. Sandeep Ojha thanked the regional wings and members of the Iftar committee for their cooperation and constant supervision of the event.
