Indian student numbers go up in US

The number of students from India increased by 19 percent while those from China dropped by nine percent in the most recent school year

The latest Open Doors report has shown that international students are coming back to the US after the drop seen during Covid.

There are other reasons for the decrease according to experts: concerns about U.S. policies toward foreigners, efforts from Canada, Australia and Britain to gain international students, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
