Kerala minister V Abdurahiman hinted at setting up of the university and a memorial for Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala. Dr PK Warrier led the Arya Vaidya Sala for over six decades.

The Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala not only poularised Ayurveda across the globe, but the charitable trust also became the centre of excellence for Ayurveda. He worked hard on documentation, international approvals and built trust among people that Ayurveda is not only heard and done therapy from forefathers, but had its solid background.

Dr PK Warrier contributed to modernising the clinical, pharmaceutical, educational and research domains of Ayurveda.

A university and memorial would really be the right tribute to Dr PK Warrier, who lived for Ayurveda all through his life.
