OAB customers can now update personal Information on their OAB Banking App

The process is simple as customers can now log in to their mobile app, click on ‘Update Customer Information’ and complete all the required fields to update their personal banking information.

Muscat: As part of OAB’s commitment to improve its customers’ banking experience, Oman Arab Bank is pleased to announce that all OAB customers will now be able to update their personal information directly from their OAB mobile banking app. 

The process is simple as customers can now log in to their mobile app, click on ‘Update Customer Information’ and complete all the required fields to update their personal banking information. The new function comes as the Bank continues to increase the number of services available online for its customers.   

OAB created this new functionality with customers’ needs in mind, ensuring that updating their personal banking information is as seamless as possible. Thanks to this new feature, OAB customers are no longer required to visit their nearest OAB branch to update their personal banking information. 

Rashad Al Shaikh, Head of Retail Banking at OAB commented on the new functionality: “With a laser sharp focus on delivering a consistently superior customer experience, we are committed to launching new features and services that make our customers lives easier. This latest release enables most of our customers to update their personal information on-the-go via the OAB Online Banking app without visiting the branch.” 

This new function is an integral part of Bank’s digital transformation journey with an increasing number of services available online or on the OAB mobile banking app. 

The Bank has been leading in the provision of online services, keeping up with digital trends in the banking sector to offer its customers the best possible banking experience. From opening bank accounts to applying for new loans and topping up their existing personal loans and now updating their personal information on-the-go, OAB customers have access to a wide range of services directly from their mobile app, enhancing their banking experience with OAB. 

OAB has a rich and proud history as one of the first financial institutions to be established in the Sultanate. Today, OAB operates a nationwide network of 47 conventional branches and 131 conventional ATMs locations across the Sultanate. OAB provides a complete range of financial products and services through its OAB Online App. Customers can now digitally benefit from several other services, directly from the convenience of their mobile phones.
