The Andhra Pradesh government is set to establish special courts for Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs), specifically addressing property disputes, civil matters, marital issues, and other concerns faced by Telugu Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

This significant initiative reflects the government’s commitment to the welfare of its diaspora and aims to ensure prompt and fair resolutions.

Targeted for completion within two years, this tower will serve as a central hub for NRT services, promoting connectivity and engagement between NRIs and the state

During the fourth governing body meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu (APNRT) Society on November 4, chaired by the recently appointed Minister and APNRT Society Chairman, Kondapalli Srinivas, a resolution to implement these courts was unanimously passed.

This meeting underscored the need for stronger support mechanisms for NRTs, leading to a proposal for establishing district-level special cells to address and resolve their issues swiftly.

Additionally, the governing body decided to fast-track the construction of the NRT Icon Tower in Amaravati’s capital region.
