CM Yadav extends invitation to the Indian diaspora for the upcoming Global Investors Summit in Bhopal
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Kobe on the third day of his Japan tour, where he engaged with the Indian diaspora and invited them to the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal, reported tribuneindia.com.
The Global Investors Summit will be held on February 24 and 25 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. CM Yadav highlighted that the summit aims to showcase the state’s industrial infrastructure and investment climate, offering ample opportunities for collaborations.
“I have come to Kobe to meet people of Indian origin and I have invited them to the Global Investors Summit. It gives me immense satisfaction and pride to see the progress of Indians here. They are not only doing their business here but also lifting the honours of Indians. I extend my greetings to them,” CM Yadav remarked.
A step towards strengthening investment ties
CM Yadav also spoke about the growing attention India is receiving globally for investment, underlining the importance of state governments in supporting the nation’s economy. He mentioned that Madhya Pradesh offers a wide array of investment opportunities, including sectors like ready-made garments, tourism, health, education, IT, and even space technology.
“Madhya Pradesh is a state where diamonds and gold are being discovered in mines, and on the other hand, iron and aluminium are also being mined,” he said. He also shared that the state had received promising investment proposals from Japanese industrialists.
“MP is not just a place for investment but also for tourism and friendship. We have conserved our forests and wildlife, making Madhya Pradesh the most attractive wildlife state,” he added.
CM Yadav emphasized the importance of creating job opportunities for Indian youth and boosting investment in the state’s economy to enhance employment prospects.
