The United Arab Emirates has expanded its labour inspection drive following complaints from Indian workers regarding wage delays and working conditions, with developments confirmed within the past 24 hours. Authorities have deployed additional inspection teams across major construction and industrial sites.
Officials from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation stated that the initiative aims to ensure compliance with labour laws, particularly in relation to timely wage payments and safe working environments. “Protecting worker rights is a top priority,” a spokesperson said.
