Indian Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia held discussions with the advisory group of airlines on fuel pricing (ATF) in India and abroad.

The meet also discussed ways to cushion the pressure of rising prices, reported ANI.

The meeting came on the back of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s letter to the Prime Minister.

“Airfares in both the international and domestic sectors has become exorbitantly high and this is not only affecting the travel industry down but also creating hardships for Non-Residents.”

Readers might remember the letter written by the Kerala CM asking for the Prime Minister’s personal intervention to reduce high air ticket prices in the post-Covid period in both domestic and international sectors.

The letter said that airfares in both the international and domestic sectors had become exorbitantly high and this was not only affecting the travel industry down but also creating hardships for Non-Residents.
