Stefflon Don, known for her successful career in the British music industry, made a special visit to Moosewala’s village to pay her respects on his birth anniversary. She joined the singer’s parents in a cake-cutting ceremony.

The village was filled with an outpouring of support as fans gathered to celebrate Moosewala’s birthday. Many brought gifts and shared their fond memories of the late singer. Moosewala’s followers also set up “chabeels,” offering sweet water, at various locations as a gesture of remembrance.

“I didn’t know that you were going to give the Punjab generation a different perspective on the world. You may not be physically present around me, but I feel your presence everywhere. I am remembering you even more today.”

— Charan Kaur, Moosewala’s Mother

On this emotional day, Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note in Punjabi. She reminisced about the day he was born, holding him in her arms for the first time. Kaur expressed her gratitude for having been blessed with a son who would go on to touch the hearts of people worldwide through his art while remaining connected to his roots in the village.

She wrote, “Happy birthday, my son. On this day, my wishes and prayers were fulfilled when I held you close to my chest for the first time and realized that the Almighty had blessed me with a son as a divine blessing. Those little feet had a slight reddish hue, and who could have known that those small steps had traveled the world while still being in the village, and those big eyes through which you saw and recognized the truth. I didn’t know that you were going to give the Punjab generation a different perspective on the world. You may not be physically present around me, but I feel your presence everywhere. I am remembering you even more today.”
