Uttar Pradesh is preparing 35,000 workers for skill training in Japan

This is part of the Specified Skilled Workers Programme in Japan. Under this, 3.14 lakh skilled workers from across the world will be trained for 14 sectors. Uttar Pradesh has decided to prepare 35,000 skilled workers for this programme

In a major boost in the area of skill development, the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh has adopted a farsighted approach by setting up training centres to train unskilled workers and make them skilled so that they can meet the international job requirements and work anywhere in the world.

According to the Minister for MSME, Investment and NRI, Siddharth Nath Singh, a Specified Skilled Workers Programme has been made in Japan. Under this, 3.14 lakh skilled workers from across the world will be trained for 14 sectors.

The selection of workers will be done on the basis of their experience and qualification. They will be imparted training in the Japanese language. Their skill development will also be done
