The New Year’s Honours List for 2024, unveiled on December 29 in London, shines a spotlight on the achievements of nearly 30 individuals of Indian origin across diverse fields. These outstanding contributors will be conferred with the prestigious Knighthood by King Charles III, as reported by m9.news.

Among the 1200 recipients of this esteemed recognition, individuals from various walks of life in the UK are being acknowledged for their selfless dedication and service to the nation.

The UK’s honour system, one of the world’s oldest, underscores the significance of these commendations. The Indian-origin honourees span professions such as healthcare, philanthropy, community activism, and academia, collectively regarded as the ‘pride’ of the nation by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
