The United Arab Emirates has strengthened labour law enforcement by expanding its digital wage tracking system, with developments confirmed within the past 24 hours aimed at protecting migrant workers, including Indians. The upgraded system enhances monitoring of salary payments and compliance with employment contracts.
Officials from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation stated that employers are now required to submit detailed digital records of wage disbursements. “Ensuring transparency and accountability in wage payments is a priority,” a spokesperson said.
