Doha Forum in Qatar (December 6-7, 2024)
Dr. Jaishankar will represent India at the 22nd edition of the prestigious Doha Forum, hosted under the theme “The Innovation Imperative.” The event, held at the invitation of Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, provides a platform to discuss transformative ideas for global progress. India’s participation underscores its commitment to fostering innovation-driven partnerships in diverse sectors.
Strengthening Bilateral Relations with Bahrain (December 8-9, 2024)
The second leg of the visit will take Dr. Jaishankar to Bahrain, where he will co-chair the 4th India-Bahrain High Joint Commission (HJC) meeting alongside Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The ministerial dialogue aims to review and expand bilateral cooperation across trade, investments, culture, and technology.
